Aah. Now that the bulk of work on the house is done, I really wanna go back to shooting! Haven’t been spending enough time on my camera (much less, anything other than work and the home) to justify the amount I spent on it.
I’m beginning to relook at the reasons why I got the camera. I had big plans for it, but unfortunately .. my interest in those plans is dwindling down slowly. Thoughts about selling the camera and the equipment that I bought along with it creeped into my head, and I have yet to deal with them.
Till today, as I sit in the office with a little spare time.
I don’t want my passion for photography to be driven by the monetary returns that it may promise me. Yes, the prospect of having a second income sounds really attractive, but as a driving factor to get better .. nah. And the other reason is the cost. One part of me believes that the higher the investment, the better the photos while the other (stingier) part of me goes,”Says who?”
Says I, but I am me.
It’s true! A good lens can set you back a few quite a few notes with Agong’s picture on it .. but it could also set your back a heavy load to carry around.
Thoughts of having a fast point and shoot, with DSLR performance sensors that I can easily carry around drove me to search for alternatives to my expensive hobby.
Thoughts, thoughts, thoughs.
