My ear’s been very irritated lately, and being on stage .. really has caused some damage to my hearing/ear-drums. These seem to be a cool solution, but it’s just a short-distance transmitter, guess plugging it into the amp just to hear myself would suffice, while essentially blocking out the LOUD NOISE around.
Trying the cabled solution first .. this weekend.
Came across this article, on the 50 most common questions that will be asked in interviews. Pretty relevant.

On Sunday night when I found the first pox, I went to Poliklinik Ludher Bhullar, on 33, Jalan 14/20, 46100 Petaling Jaya.
The doctor that was on duty said that I should be taking 800mg of Acyclovir, and said that it’s the stronger medicine that will cost RM180. I said okay, but his assistant checked if they had stock .. only to find that there were 200mg tablets available.
So he then went on to say that I should take 4 tablets (4 X 200 mg = 800mg), of which I found ridiculous so I questioned him and said,”If you don’t have 800mg tablets available, I can get them elsewhere.”
He then said he’ll check, and told me to sit outside.
As Liz and I were outside, I heard the popping of the pills out of its packaging, and his assistant called us up to the counter.
“Please take one, 5 times a day.”
I asked,”Aren’t these the same pills earlier? 200mg ones? I thought the doctor said I should be taking 800mg pills?”
He said “Yes, you can go and check with the doctor .. yadda yadda yadda.”
So I went back in and the doctor just went … yadda yadda yadda, if it gets worse, come back and we’ll increase the dosage .. you never know how the course of the virus will be .. yadda yadda bullcrap.
So I took the pills for the next 2 days, with little effect, as poxes came popping from everywhere. I felt like it hadn’t affected the virus one bit .. So I decided to get second opinions, and by that time .. it’s already too late.
Checked with other doctors, and they confirmed that it’s 800mg per tablet, 5 times a day. Saw another doctor, and got some fresh medication and better consultation.
Crappy clinic. Poliklinik Ludher Bhullar. Is there an association where I can lodge a complaint against this clinic? Unscrupulous. Just to make a quick buck, prescribe 800mg, but gave 200mg tablets.
POXIES.
Chickie poxies.
Well, better now that during the wedding. Just the other day, at Leadership Cell we were talking about chicken pox and the wedding .. how they don’t go well together. And I told them that I should get the jab before the wedding to prevent such happening .. but .. HAH .. it came.
Anyone got any DVDs? Bring some coconut water if you want ..
brushing your teeth with your other hand?
Try it!
Today, you’re home pretty early. I first hear the keys, and then the all-so-familliar clink of the Yale lock. The door locks then turn, the top followed by the knob. The door creaks open and I peek from the bedroom entrance which you usually don’t close.
Whoa, my blogging really slack man. Hahaha.
I guess work’s just been overbearing, but I realize that I don’t talk so much any more. Not as much as I used to. Sometimes, I find that my thoughts too private. Other times, I just don’t have any. Many times, there ain’t enough time for me to sit down and reflect. I suppose I don’t make time to blog, that’s why I don’t make time to reflect.
Glah.
Here’s a picture from the roadtrip I took recently with my best man Victor.
